and i'm from brazil

i want to translate the documentation of mplayer to  Portuguese-BR, and 
i don't know how i do this...

here in brazil have a lot users of mplayer, and the mplayer haven't 
documentation and man pages to portuguese-BR

i would like to help, if i knew how to translate the documentation.....

please , i wanna help the  mplayer !!!

how i do to translate the mplayer docs and man pages ??
