[MPlayer-users] mencoder bug reporting question

Really? What version are you using for Linux? I'm using v5.0.1, which 
comes as divx4linux-20020418.tar.gz, and I get the same results with -vc 
divx4 and -vc odivx -- neither one plays the "bad" files correctly.
